Phil The Framer is happy to accept paintings commissions for of almost any subject providing it is in oils.
His work is always executed on quality canvas or Belgian linen on stretchers individually made by Him. While he prefers to paint life size, Most family homes limit the overall work dimensions to 150cm x 100cm.
He is able paint from photographs of the subject, providing they are of a reasonable quality. He prefers several taken from different points of view and, ideally, at least one or two relatively short sittings to allow him to gain an understanding of the character and nuances of the subject.
